TUITION
Tuition includes private lessons. Group lessons are required in addition to private lessons, and are an additional fee. See group class schedule for group class dates and more group class information. Tuition is paid either by the month or semester.
Monthly Tuition: Students who choose to pay monthly and begin lessons in the fall semester pay 10 equal payments with the first payment due August 1st and the last due May 1st.
Monthly Refund Policy: One month notice must be given to cancel lessons. For example, a family is moving in January. They will make their last payment in November, inform the instructor at the beginning of December they will be leaving the studio at the end of the month, and continue lessons through the end of December. There will be no refunds for partial months or for missed lessons that have not been made-up. Please see the Make-up Policy for information on missed lessons.
Semester: Students who pay by the semester receive a 10% discount. A non-refundable deposit (see scale below) is due by August 1st for the fall semester, and the remainder of the tuition for the fall semester is due by September 1st. The spring semester non-refundable deposit (see scale below) is due January 1st and the remainder of the tuition for the spring semester is due February 1st. 15 minute lesson: $50 deposit
30 minute lesson: $100 deposit
45 minute lesson: $150 deposit
60 minute lesson: $200 deposit
Semester Refund Policy: Students wishing to discontinue lessons and who have paid by the semester must give one month’s notice. When lessons are discontinued, the student will be charged the full price for the lessons that were taken. This amount will be subtracted from the total paid for the semester minus the deposit and the remainder will be refunded within 30 days of the last lesson. Please see the Make-up Policy for information on missed lessons.
Summer: The summer session consists of 7 available lessons. In May, students register for the summer session and are billed for the number of lessons they have selected. Students may choose to pay for summer lessons by the month or semester and will be billed accordingly. Monthly summer payment for June and July is due June 1st and payment for August is due July 1st. Summer semester payment is due June 1st for those paying for the entire summer semester. There are no refunds or make-ups for summer lessons.
